WHY CAN'T YOU FORGIVE? I always tell myself that when you live your life without anyone hurting, disappointing, disgracing or offending you then it means you never did anything worthy. Before you continue reading this piece, I want to tell you that there are so many people who are buried daily, and their crime is that someone they offended couldn't forgive them. There are innocent orphans and street children out there whose crime is that someone didn't forgive their parents. The reality is that even as you read this piece, there may be someone you have blocked on whatsapp or facebook, or you have decided not to respond to his/ posts/messages and the person's crime is that he/she is naughty, broke your heart, disappointed you or said something that really offended you. You aren't talking to your roommate, an old friend, a family member, your Ex or that special friends because they offended you and you can’t forgive them. Yes, I really understand you, they hurt you. He/she is annoying, rude and not worthy to be part of your life. However, my questions are: do you expect someone to forgive you if you can't forgive others? Do you think you have never offended anyone before? The beauty of life is that it comes with disappointments and offences from people you least expect. Unfortunately, some of us spend so much time on the disappointments and offences and end up becoming victims of all circumstances. Remember this one thing always: Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. The fact is that the world is full of annoying, naughty and ungrateful people; you will always come across them during the gentle stroll of your life span here on earth, but the best thing to do is to deal with them with love and maturity. You can’t get everyone to behave like you. Never! Hatred and intolerance have caused many of the world's problems and have solved none of them. We must learn to tolerate and forgive one another. We must have personal cemeteries where we can bury the faults of others and move on with life. There are some people on this earth who when you treat them the way they are, they will forever remain the same, sometimes you need the love of God and ideal maturity to be with them. Their lives will never be better when you let them go. I know so many names are racing through your mind as you read this piece. Yes, I have been there before to the extent that I felt like eliminating some of them from the earth, however, through prayers, love and maturity, today some of them are my best friends. It is never easy but it's possible. It's said that true forgiveness is when you can say, "Thank you for that experience." As you read this piece, I beseech you to take the pain and forgive that special person you have grudges with, unblock that friend and iron out your grievances. A great man once said that forgiveness is the sweet smell left by the flower on the bottom of the shoe which trampled it. It is the only needle that knows how to mend. Master the courage and apologize to that person you have offended. Life is too short. The stars are falling, the clock is ticking, man is ageing, grave is calling and we are not in charge. Mohammed Ali once said, don't count the days, let the days count. Life is short, don't wait for a perfect time to impact the world, you don't know how much time you have left...now is the time...live life to please the maker, that you can not regret. My dear brothers and sisters, May God make it easy for you to do the right thing. We have been asking for forgiveness all through this month..imagine if you are told that Allah has not forgiven you😳🙆🏿.. Please forgive others and pray that you are forgiven.

the world of our prayer

Can you compare this headlines summary, Bashir kills rebels in Homms, Israel boom terrorist in palestine, nigeria police killed 4 terrorists? is this the world of our choice?
a world devoid of double standard is our prayer, a world where every race, color , history does not make me inferior. a world with a courage to say the truth. a truly united Nation where ASAD of syria is punished for its action, and Israel punished for the assassinations in whatever name.
a world where killings is called assassination irrespective of the one that perpetrated it. a world where every killer is a terrorist irrespective of his colour, faith, belief, race.
do we have the world today? NO.

The Bomb Dropped in Nigeria - Oil Subsidy Removal

The Bomb finally dropped on Nigerians and casualty is yet to be identified.
Wonderful day here with news for the last four days giving us alert of the Boko Haram (BH) bomb all over the country, However, the GEJ administration never allow BH to kill more people but the instrument of the government to reduce the population has been dropped. In a country where even the breathing air is being provided for by the citizens from power, medical, education through business (middle), yet the government is insensitive to the burden the Nigerians are carrying everyday. the foolish government of GEJ just added to the burden of the masses and hopefully the prices of good and services will respond to the subsidy removal and further agitation will start from the labour unions.

Some questions to answer:
  • Has someone very close to the corridor of power in nigeria ever sit down and relate closely with street boys?
  • don't you think the whole saga just translate to government punishing 160m nigerians because of less than 50000 business men running the oil businesses.
  • will these ever happen in my country for the leaders to identify the problem in the country?
  • Imagine our dealers comparing the prices of beer to fuel, how many of us drink beer?
  • Will government officials buy fuel with their own salary to share from this suffering?
  • excess crude account is not useful for capital project but for sharing ..."yee mo ke ran ooo"?
  • when will this country realize that people like Okonjo Iweala does not have genuine love for the masses again (IMF / World Bank interest is superior)
  • some one raised, where is the gain coming from after the removal since there is no line item in the budget that is meant for fuel subsidy?
  • why is PPPRA giving the oil marketer the minimum price? (in a liberilized market)
  • Will Nigeria remain tolerant or fight this Demons once and for all. (Naija Spring I guess)
Consequences of the subsidy removal (if any subsidy at all):
I went to the market on the evening of the January 1st 2012 and the okada ride between my house which normally goes for forty naira is now eighty naira, normal bus for the masses moved from thirty Naira to sixty Naira. hope someone will sense the effect this will have on basic commodities, do not think further, I normally spent eight litres of PMS to run my power generator overnight which means average of sixty litres a week and two hundred and forty litres a month this will translate to 33, 600 Naira every month in a country with a minimum wage of 18,000 Naira. what about others prices of Tyres, services Tomatoes, food supliments, poor sachet water / bottled drinks (company running on diesel) etc.

Indeed it is a big Bomb and the casualty is yet to be identified but All I know is our dealers do not care for us but only care for expanding their business empires.

God Saves Nigeria

Wonders in Nigeria

Fewer Richmen cum political jobbers in the country called Nigeria is using the loopholes created by the Government of the country (Fuel subsidy, if at all).
  • Yet those individual involved are not punishable,
  • Nigeria Government cannot privatized the refinery and make it working before deregulation,
  • The names of those bad / corrupt businessmen as claimed by the Sanusi Lamido of CBN on the televised debate can not made public on the pages of nigerian newspapers.
  • Same government is sharing excess crude oil money to all arms of government.
  • all Government officials or political appointees do not not buy fuel with their own money.
  • Presidency is using 1B  Naira to feed aso rock for 1 year.

However, all what the government is saying is that the innocent citizen should be pay heavily for their failures.

  • Will a private businessman allow such 8billion USD as claimed Sanusi Lamido to go untraced / and users unpunished.
  • NITEL nearly put us into the dark world of "zero communication", if not for the intervention of the GSM network providers.
  • Government failed to give her citizen constant supply of eletricity or good road, education is zero etc.

it is time we get up to challenge this indecent act
